We successful held the second session of Winter Concert on December 19,2018. With the number of teachers and students increasing, this year's programmes were richer and more exciting compared to last year. It is worth noting that the participation of Primary School pupils this year added more simple happiness to this concert. Also, the students demonstrated what they had learnt from enrichment programmes at the concert, which amazed the audience.

上海康德双语实验学校于今年12月19日成功举办了第二届圣诞音乐会。随着师生数量的增加，今年学生的演出节目相比去年更丰富、更精彩，尤其是今年学校还成立了小学部，小学生的加入为整台音乐会增添了更多的童真和童趣。另外，本届音乐会上，学生们还展示了自己在拓展课上的学习成果，他们精彩的表演惊艳全场。

The opening programme was a lively cheerleading show, which aroused the enthusiasm of the audience and made them look forward to the following performances.

开场节目是活力四射的啦啦操，一出场就瞬间点燃全场气氛，让观众对接下来的演出充满期待。

Our Primary School pupils brought us the poem titled "Dawn of Spring” with their tender and clear voices, which seemed to make us smell the spring in the cold winter. Their cheerful Christmas chorus put us in a wonderland. Additionally, they gave the chorus “Light a Candle for Peace” and instrumental performance “Jingle Bells”.

小学生们用稚嫩、清脆的嗓音为观众带来了诗朗诵《春晓》，让观众在寒冬中感受到春天的气息；他们欢快的圣诞组曲让观众仿佛置身于美妙的童话世界中。另外，他们还带来了集体大合唱《为和平点燃蜡烛》以及乐器演奏《铃儿响叮当》。

The House system is a major feature of the school. Each of the four Houses were required to present its performance in the name of the House. In Tu Youyou House’s "Concord Show”, various small objects with the school logo became perfect catwalk props, showcasing the unique self-confidence of our students; Teresa's short play "Meaning Lesson for Friday" showed the importance of making full preparation before completing a task as well as the friendship and teamwork spirit among students; Mandela's well-choreographed dance "Light up the World" lighted up the whole stage; Gandhi students were full of passions when singing the song "Seasons of Love".

上海康德双语实验学校设立的学院制是学校的一大特色，本次四个学院都必须以各自学院为一个团体在音乐会上亮相。屠呦呦学院学生表演的走秀节目《康德形象秀》中，各种印有学校logo的小物件化身为完美的走秀道具，秀出了康德学子独有的自信风采；特蕾莎学院的小品《生动一课》展现了凡事需要认真准备的重要性以及学生之间的团队友谊；曼德拉学院用心编排的舞蹈《点亮世界》将整个舞台都点亮了；甘地学院学生带来的大合唱《爱的季节》满怀深情。

Our expat teachers expressed their passion for learning Chinese and Chinese culture in Hsu Chih-mo's famous poem "Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again".

学校的外籍教师通过朗诵徐志摩先生脍炙人口的诗歌《再别康桥》，表达了他们对学习汉语和中国文化的热忱。

We offer students diversified enrichment programmes. The drama "Mulan" brought by the Middle School students who take the drama course on Saturdays was retold this time with a song contrasting the life of ancient and contemporary young people and telling that the latter has better material life but their inner world is not as rich as that of the former. Then, we watched how Hua Mulan prepared and went to the front in her father’s place. Each student performed very well and won a lot of applause from the audience. The walze “Lasso the Moon” brought by the standard dancing community displayed the graceful manners of our girls and boys. Besides, our French and guitar clubs gave a romantic and elegant French song "L’oiseau et L’enfant", and a beautiful guitar & flute performance respectively. Students who take the ESB course recited three English poems in a creative way.

另外，上海康德双语实验学校还为学生提供了丰富多彩的拓展课程。 参与周六英语戏剧社团的初中生带来的舞台剧《花木兰》。此剧是基于传统花木兰形象的重新演绎，由一段歌曲引出了古代和当代年轻人的生活对比，映衬出现在的年轻人虽然拥有舒适的物质生活，但精神世界却没有过去的年轻人充实。第二幕随即转入花木兰替父从军的片段。每个学生的表演都非常认真投入，台下掌声雷动。标准舞社团编排的华尔兹《月亮套索》尽展男女生端庄典雅的仪态。午间法语社团及吉他社团分别为观众献上了浪漫优雅的法语香颂《飞鸟与孩子》，以及优美动人的吉他笛子重奏。此外，参与英语口语与演讲技巧课程（ESB）学习的学生朗诵了三首英文诗，展现形式令人耳目一新。

Students performed in a humorous way in the short play ”Exam” around the topic of cheating in exams. The dance "Good Time" showed the youthfulness and vigour of our students. The classic drama "Les Misérables" presented by High School students brought an audio-visual feast to the audience. We can see that the tutors and students devoted lots of time and effort behind the programmes from their costumes, dialogues, and on-the-spot performance.In addition, High School students brought the brilliant drama "The Nutcracker" with the participation of our expat teachers, including a moving fairy tale and a wonderful dance.

在学校“校园才艺大比拼”中获奖的作品——小品《测验》以诙谐幽默的方式演绎了考试作弊这一话题，令人捧腹；另一获奖作品——舞蹈《欢乐时光》则动感十足，尽显学生的青春活力。高中生带来的经典戏剧《悲惨世界》为观众呈上了一场精彩的视听盛宴。从服装造型、对白到现场表现都反映出指导老师和学生在表演前付出了大量的时间和心血。此外，高中生表演的舞台剧《胡桃夹子》为观众展现了一个动人的童话、一场美妙的舞会。外教的加入，更让观众眼前一亮。

6T's original poem "This Summer, We Meet at Concord" aroused strong resonance among the audience. Shanghai Concord lets us harvest and grow together.

六年级特蕾莎学院的原创诗歌《这个夏天，我们相遇康德》引起了观众的强烈共鸣。上海康德双语实验学校让大家相聚在一起，共同收获、共同成长。

The chorus "Seasons of Love" put an end to the concert in a perfect way which embodied our efforts and love. This beautiful memory is believed to warm all of us this winter.

压轴节目是学生合唱《爱的季节》，为本届音乐会画上了圆满的句点。这场音乐会凝聚了所有人的心血和爱，相信这段美好的记忆会温暖大家一整个冬天。
